DGR's source text is <xref doc="a.pq4213.a2p6.rad" from="431" workcode="233d-1861orig"> <title level="wrk"> <hi rend="i">Poeti del Primo Secolo</hi> (I. 431). The translation is close, except for the final two words, which DGR threw in to complete the rhyme.
