They were to be written by different PRB members, and DGR in fact wrote <xref doc="a.6-1849.raw">“On Refusal of Aid Between Nations”</xref> and <xref doc="a.5-1849.raw">“Vox Ecclesiae, Vox Christi”</xref> for the series. The members subsequently decided to keep all publications in the journal free of “anything at all referring to politics or religion” so the series never appeared (see Fredeman, <hi rend="i">The PRB Journal</hi> , 13, 23, 201 , entry for 26 August and 6 November 1849 and note).
