Scholarly Commentary
Introduction
This leaf from one of DGR's notebooks contains two manuscripts, a heavily revised draft of “Equal Troth”, and the two complete first stanzas of “God's Graal”. The marginal notation “(H. of L.)” on the recto is typical of DGR's notebook habits, indicating a poem he was writing and planning to include in the 1881 augmented edition of “The House Of Life”.
