Introduction
This letter contains some interesting comments about “Rose Mary”. The comments are implicitly William Bell Scott's, who seems to have regarded the ballad as having “a comic side”. DGR protested that idea. The letter contains as well a copy of his couplet “On William Morris”. “Top” refers to William Morris.
