Published, like <xref doc="a.pr1145.w35.rad"> <hi rend="i">A Welcome</hi> </xref> , by Emily Faithfull and the Victoria Press, <hi rend="i">Poems: An Offering to Lancashire</hi> was an anthology of original literary contributions. In the words of its title-page, the volume was “Printed and Published for the Art Exhibition for the Relief of Distress in the Cotton Districts”.
