Original Cost: WMR reports that Bowman bought the item for 150 guineas.
Model: Fanny Cornforth
Note: Fanny Cornforth was originally the model for the picture. Her likeness is no longer visible in the repaint.
Repainting: April 1877
Bowman reported a change in pigmentation to DGR, who then decided to repaint the face.
