                <p>The nose is long &amp; wants droop in the point of it. Cut away as
                    marked<lb/>above the further <del>eyelids</del> eyebrow and within the point of
                    the<lb/>nose. Cut away also, as marked, above the other eyebrow,<lb/>which at
                    present is too much Thus [sketch] but should go thus [sketch] more<lb/>also <hi rend="u">round</hi> the eye more <del>but</del>
                    <note>&#8220;but&#8221; is overwritten with
                    &#8220;by&#8221;</note>by a slight touch beneath the iris which<lb/>is
                    too straight.<lb/>Cut away<lb/>something of<lb/>the two hash<lb/>lines
                    against<lb/>the eye,<lb/>leaving<lb/>little more<lb/>than a dot<lb/>under
                    the<lb/>lower eyelid<lb/>as marked.<lb/>Cut away<lb/>entirely in<lb/>the
                    forehead<lb/>where marked,<lb/>and in the<lb/>hair, and<lb/>soften the<lb/>tone
                    of the<lb/>cheek, also<lb/>marking the<lb/>cheek bone<lb/>more
                    as<lb/>indicated.<lb/>The mouth<lb/>needs some<lb/>further care. Continue the
                    light along the thi<del>?</del> half<note>not certain of
                        &#8220;half&#8221;</note>
                    <lb/>of the upper lip as marked, &amp; clear as marked<lb/>the line
                    between it &amp; the slight moustache, which<lb/>should be very faint as
                    I have now made it, removing a touch at its end. <del>

                    </del>The drawing of the chin needs<lb/>to express more the turn of the head.
                    For this purpose,<lb/>cut slightly away outside its point, &amp; clear
                    away where<lb/>it joins the shadow beneath the under lip.<lb/>The eye
                    needs<lb/>a dot of<lb/>light in<lb/>it &amp; the<lb/>further<lb/>eyelid
                    a<lb/>light to<lb/>mark it.<lb/>Cut away<lb/>within the<lb/>two
                    first<lb/>knuckles<lb/>of the lifted<lb/>hand, &amp;<lb/>within
                    the<lb/>knuckles<lb/>of the<lb/>forefinger<lb/>on the<lb/>other hand.</p>
