Included Text

I have bought from Marks a water vessel which here badly represented. It is of brass or some sort of bell-metal, & is I should think Persian though it might perfectly well be gothic. The handle is a sort of lizard or scorpion attacking the lion. there is a little lid in the lion's head which admits the water, & it issues from the spout in his mouth. It is really a fine thing.
