Introduction
This is an interesting early manuscript fragment, not least for the material on the verso. The epitaphs for Blake and Shakespeare were clearly written in the same spirit as his earlier epitaph on Keats , and all indicate DGR's desire in the late 1840s to identify himself with a certain set of English precursors.
