Introduction

This drawing depicts an early meeting of the Cyclographic Club, a small drawing group instituted in July of 1848. According to the directives, each member of the group was to execute one design per month, which would be critiqued by the other members. The Club was short lived, due to the ineptitude of some of the members and harsh criticism of the others.
