Introduction

This is the design for the de luxe edition of Swinburne's Songs Before Sunrise volume. The design is copied after the one DGR created for his 1870 volume and that he used again for his two 1881 volumes. (For an example see the cover design for the de luxe edition of the 1881 Ballads and Sonnets .)
